Expanded PTFE Round Rope

PTFE is a very useful material because it has a unique combination of properties. PTFE is chemically inert, weatherable, excellent electrical insulation, high temperature resistance, a low coefficient of friction and non-adhesive properties.

Valve-spindle cord made of pure expanded PTFE, used as valve-spindle and flange seals in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food processing industries. Flanges are sealed quickly and securely by simple insertion of a ring of PTFE round cord (ends twisted).
